"This is America" inspired by the impending end of the cold war. The song is simple and would only take about 20-minutes to teach a handful of kids to sing the song ... and if so, perhaps could be recorded for radio play. There is no cost to sing this song for the love of America, for school children, for scout troops, for honorable non-profit organizations. My reward is that a little work I did helps to encourage a stronger sense of American Patriotism. In fact, I want to encourage children to write more verses for the song. Hints: 1776, the United States of America Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, our first president George Washington. For a MIDI file, Score Sheet, Lyric Sheet and sample of me singing the song to give to the schools; http://www.brainless.org/ndmp/tisam.htm Walt Perko wperko@brainless.org HC1 Box 4741 Keaau, HI 96749
